Spirit Week Celebration Brings Halloween Fun to Life!

This years Spirit Week at Nia Imani Family was filled with festive Halloween fun, creativity, and unforgettable memories! We kicked off the week with spooky bingo night, where everyone brought their game faces (and maybe a few monster faces!) as we played for prices in a lively atmosphere.

Mid-week, our participants (artists) crafted creative posters by drawing themselves as part of a monster family of their choice. We had SpongeBob family, witches, and ghouls galore! It was amazing to see each person's unique twist on a Halloween character - where the participants (and also, we) celebrated creativity and expression.

Next, we kept the sweet spirit going with an Ice Cream Social! Everyone enjoyed creating their own delicious masterpieces with a variety of toppings - from candy corn, sprinkles, to chocolate chips. It was a treat for the taste buds and a delightful moment as a family.

We capped off Spirit Week with our Halloween Party Extravaganza, where everyone teamed up to transform our Family Center into a haunted Halloween haven! From spooky decorations to themed snacks that included (but not limited to!) spooky fruit kebabs, spiders on pizza, peachy skull brains, and DEVILED eggs. It was a truly spirited way to end the week. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, laughter, and teamwork, making this celebration a memorable way to close out an incredible week of Halloween festivities.

Thank you to everyone who participated and made this Spirit Week a hauntingly good time! BOO!! Until next year...
